We are proud to announce a special concert event on March 10, 2012.
The Great Lakes Taiko Center will be hosting Hanayui in a joint concert with Raion Taiko and the students of the Taiko Center.
Hanayui was formed in 1991 by members of the world-famous taiko group, KODO. Their performances focus on voice and dance using taiko and other traditional Japanese instruments as accompaniment. They have performed for sold-out audiences all around the world. We are very excited to offer this opportunity to see them in Michigan. For this concert they will also be joined by Yoshikazu Fujimoto, Odaiko master and one of KODO's most senior members.
The event will be held on March 10, 2012 at Novi Middle School, 49000 W. Eleven Mile Rd, Novi, MI 48374. The concert begins at 7:30 PM.
