Seagulls
Seagulls follow the ferry out to see for at least the first hour of the trip, then they show up again when the boat is about an hour from its destination. They follow the boat because many of the passengers feed them. Karen liked taking pictures of the seagulls. This was one of her better shots.

The White Cliffs of Shiroyama
On top of this hill is Shiroyama park, where Kodo holds their evening concerts during Earth Celebration. Fortunately, you do not need to scale this cliffs to get there. There is a pathway that leads up to the top. The pathway is still rather steep, though and most folks are out of breath by the time they reach the top.
